Identifying issues before they become problems
Trees rarely fail without warning. The warning is just easy to miss if you are not looking for it. An assessment is a proper look over a tree, from the root collar to the top of the crown, to work out what condition it is genuinely in.
The root collar and buttress roots, the trunk, the main unions where heavy limbs meet the stem, and the crown itself. Fungal brackets, cavities, bark damage, included bark, dieback and unusual leaf loss all say something about what is going on inside.
A tree with a weak union or advanced decay can look completely healthy in full leaf. Finding it in advance turns an expensive emergency into a planned, cheaper job that you choose the timing of.
A straight explanation of what we found, what it means, and what your options are. If a tree is fine, we will tell you it is fine. Not every assessment ends in work.
If a tree carries a Tree Preservation Order or sits in a conservation area, the council must give consent before most work can go ahead. We will tell you if that applies to yours.
